People over there more than ever are in need of help and especially water. The earthquake and the following tsunami has hurt the people of Japan tremendously and they are currently fighting with radiation. The matter of the fact is that the whole Earth is affected by all that and the effects of the radiation are yet to be seen. But, at the moment, the people of Japan are in need of immediate help. Those 70 000 bottles of water are a part of a bigger tranche, that is estimated to be 700 000 bottles of water. They will be distributed to the Northern part of the country to those who most need the water. But water is only a part of the emergency goods that people in Japan need. Others are medicine, flashlights, camp stoves, food, blankets, and tablets that purify water. Many people are sending pocketknives, sweaters, shoes, socks, and waterproof tents. The Japanese people will greatly appreciate anything that is delivered to them, because in desperate times every little thing counts.
