In an age in which so many are preoccupied with looking more beautiful and younger than they have ever done before, keeping up appearances can be an expensive and time-consuming pastime. For some however, such as Jacksonville columnist Noreen Young, making her own facial masks with the help of a little distilled water is the key to looking and feeling fabulous. This is her recipe for a facial mask, with only two easy-to-obtain ingredients:
You will need:
1 bag black rice
1/4 cup distilled water
To make the mask:
Rinse the rice under the tap to remove any stray dirt, and place into a plastic container.
Add the distilled water. Let it sit on the counter for a couple of hours. The watery solution, not the rice, is your face mask.
On a clean face, apply this watery mask with a makeup brush or a cotton ball.
