Make Cologne with Distilled Water

It can be pretty tricky choosing your perfume or cologne; finding a fragrance that you love and feels brings out something wonderful within you is not an easy task, and often we settle for smells that we’re not 100% certain about. Well, dear reader, the days of compromising are over, as we’ve found that it’s easy to make your own smelly stuff, solid or liquid, using distilled water in the process. All you really need to make the base of your solid perfume is bees wax, almond oil, and then the essential oil of your choice, depending on what your nose particularly enjoys. Once all your ingredients are thoroughly melted together- best done ‘bain marie’ style- leaving it in a jar to set is the best thing to do. Once it becomes a solid block, it can be rubbed over the skin.
For the liquid stuff, rubbing your oil of choice in with some plain talcum powder, and then adding a half-and-half mixture of witch hazel and distilled water, will create your own individual perfume.
