Another fantastic use for our distilled water has made a feature in the BBC’s Sky at Night Magazine this January in the article ‘How to clean a reflector’ by Steve Richards. For all you avid astronomers, all you need to do this is clean towels, high grade (BP) cotton wool, screw drivers, Allen keys, and indelible pen, tepid water and of course our distilled water. In six easy steps Steve takes you through the process allowing the astronomer complete control over their telescope!
The purity of our distilled water ensures the removal of any calcium or other deposits from the telescope mirror and therefore prevents any solid build up occurring on the mirror face. Excellent stuff. If you would like to read the article in full, it is available in the January issue out now and if you have any other questions or queries that our distilled team might be able to help you with please do not hesitate to get in touch!
